"Developing AI driven menin inhibitors to overcome resistance in acute myeloid leukaemia treatment"
CHARM Therapeutics develops precision oncology treatments for acute myeloid leukaemia, a blood cancer with high unmet need. Using its proprietary DragonFold platform, the company designs AI optimised small molecule inhibitors that reprogram cancerous cells rather than destroying them, targeting the protein interaction between menin and KMT2A to prevent resistance and deliver durable responses. Founded by Laksh Aithani and Nobel laureate David Baker, CHARM combines deep learning with structural biology to create next generation therapeutics. The company is advancing CHM-029, a menin inhibitor designed to overcome first generation limitations, into clinical trials in 2026 with backing from NVIDIA, NEA, OrbiMed, and Khosla Ventures.

A world where cancers like AML can be controlled through targeted reprogramming rather than destroyed through harsh conventional therapies, giving patients deeper remissions and longer lives.
At CHARM Therapeutics, our mission is to transform outcomes for AML patients by developing next generation menin inhibitors that overcome resistance mutations and deliver durable responses through AI driven protein-ligand prediction.
