"A charity supporting older people to live well through care homes, day services and grants"
Friends of the Elderly provides specialist care homes, day services and grants for older people across England and Wales. Founded in 1905, the charity operates eight care homes and three day care centres, delivering nursing care, respite care and dementia support. Care is personalised to individual needs and integrated with local communities, helping residents maintain quality of life with dignity and respect. As a not for profit charity, all surplus funds are reinvested into care services and staff training. The charity also provides grants to older people on low incomes, helping with essential costs like heating and cooking equipment. Over a century, Friends of the Elderly has helped thousands of older people live well in later life.
