Position Overview:
In the Product Manager role, you will work with the COO, CCO and CEO to mature Broken String Bio’s current on-market product and evolve the product roadmap to bring new products to market with appropriate positioning, documentation and pricing. Working together with marketing, you will ensure that appropriate sales collateral and external messaging supports the sale of products and services to achieve our business goals, while monitoring industry trends both directly and through intelligence coming back from colleagues to help formulate competitive responses and advise on potential future developments.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead product management, collaborating closely with product development and marketing teams to support existing products on market and deliver new product
  • Conduct VoC and market research activities to gain knowledge of market trends and customer expectations and feed these into product development and marketing initiatives.
  • Together with the COO, CCO and CEO, evolve and document the product roadmap based on opportunity but balanced with available resources
  • Project manage across departments to allow the smooth execution of product launches ensuring all documentation is in place to allow marketing and sales
  • Together with Marketing oversee the creation of compelling product messaging and positioning that effectively communicates the value proposition of our products to target audiences. Including, the creation of in-depth marketing collateral, product datasheets, case studies, whitepapers, and blog posts, to drive awareness and demand.
  • Oversee the development of sales enablement tools and assist the sales team by providing guidance for product messaging, positioning, objection handling, and identifying target customers.
  • Provide the sales team with the necessary tools, training and collateral to effectively sell our products, including sales presentations, product guides, and competitive analysis materials.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in Biological Sciences or related field
  • Minimum 3-5 years of hands-on experience with Product Management in the life science research tools markets.
  • Domain expertise in cell biology and gene editing, next generation DNA sequencing, and/or the pharmaceutical product development process.
  • Record of accomplishment of successful contributions to product development and commercialization activities.
  • Strong business and financial acumen.
  • High proficiency in English with exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ambitious self-starter with a positive, upbeat demeanour, with the ability to withstand change and thrive in high-growth environments.
  • Highly collaborative with excellent project management skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
