Commercial Relations Account Manager
Location: Head Office - London
Salary: Up to £44,000.00 per annum
Employment Type: Full Time & Permanent

We have an opportunity for a Commercial Relations Account Manager to join their team of staff in the Insurance department. This is a full time role for 37.5 hours a week. The role holder will be required to cover a flexible shift pattern.

Duties of this role include:
  • Build and maintain effective working relationships with private medical insurers (PMIs), hospitals, consultants and internal stakeholders.
  • Act as a key point of contact for insurer operational and contractual queries
  • Support internal and external audits relating to insurer agreements, billing and network arrangements.
  • Support the implementation and maintenance of insurer agreements, payment schedules and network arrangements.
  • Investigate and resolve operational queries relating to insurer agreements, billing, network participation and reimbursement.
  • Support resolution of insurer escalations, invoice queries and contract-related issues.
  • Support the Commercial Relations Manager with contract renewals, pricing reviews and commercial submissions.
  • Assist in the preparation of financial and operational information required for insurer negotiations.
  • Maintain accurate records, trackers and reporting relating to insurer agreements, network activity and operational performance.
  • Analyse operational and financial data to identify trends, issues and opportunities for improvement.

Applicants should meet the following criteria:
  • Experience in a commercial, account management, healthcare administration, billing or customer relationship environment.
  • Experience managing multiple stakeholders and building effective working relationships.
  • Experience working with contracts, service agreements or operational processes.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and identify solutions.
  • Experience investigating and resolving operational or financial queries.
  • Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities and deadlines.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy.
  • Effective communication and influencing skills, both written and verbal
  • Experience using business systems and reporting tools.
  • Experience within the healthcare sector is preferred but not essential
