About the Role
As a Senior People Partner, you’ll be a strategic advisor, trusted challenger, and operational leader - enabling high-performing teams to thrive. You’ll work directly with business leaders to shape culture, grow capability, and drive people decisions that are commercially sound, context-aware, and grounded in care.
Strategic Partnership
- Coach for Impact: Partner with leaders to understand their goals, challenge assumptions, and influence stronger, more deliberate decisions.
- Build Leadership Capability: Equip leaders to have the right conversations, especially when expectations aren’t being met.
- Resolve Complex Issues: Provide expert, context-aware guidance on nuanced people matters, including underperformance, complaints, employee disputes, and visa requirements.
- Think Two Steps Ahead: Anticipate business shifts, identify risks and opportunities early, and shape workforce strategy and planning accordingly.
People Operations and Enablement
- Use Data to Influence: Bring clarity through metrics. Use insights to support planning, performance management, compensation, and engagement.
- Improve What We Own: Continuously iterate on our People Systems, and Processes — making them clearer, leaner, and more scalable.
- Deliver at Scale: Own or support the delivery of key people programs, including performance and remuneration cycles, engagement initiatives, and audits.
About You
- 5+ years in a strategic HR Manager or People Business Partner role within a high-performance environment (e.g. tech, high-growth startup, or consulting).
- Strong understanding of UK employment law and HR compliance.
- Experience managing direct reports and supporting people leaders across functions.
- Proficient in tracking and interpreting people metrics to inform decisions.
- Excellent project management skills with a proven ability to lead initiatives across the employee lifecycle.
