About the role
Location: Jarvis Centre, Guildford / Surrey & NE Hampshire
Hours: 37.5 hours per week
Are you an experienced Mammographer with a passion for quality assurance and training? Join our expert team at the Surrey and North East Hampshire (Jarvis) Breast Screening Service, where we provide life-saving screening services to around 200,000 women every three years.

As a QA Lead Mammographer, you will play a vital role in maintaining high standards of imaging quality across our static unit at the Jarvis Breast Centre and five mobile screening units, covering 19 locations across Surrey and North East Hampshire. You will:

About the Role
As a QA Lead Mammographer, you will play a vital role in maintaining high standards of imaging quality across our static unit at the Jarvis Breast Centre and five mobile screening units, covering 19 locations across Surrey and North East Hampshire. You will:
- Lead on quality assurance (QA) protocols and processes to ensure high imaging standards
- Perform high-quality mammograms for breast cancer screening
- Support assessment clinics, including stereotactic biopsies
- Conduct quality control (QC) checks on mammography equipment, including stereotactic units and ultrasound machines
- Assist in training and developing Assistant Practitioners and Trainee Mammographers
What You'll Need
- BSc in Radiography or equivalent
- HCPC registration
- Certificate of Competence in Mammography
- Postgraduate qualification in Mammography (desirable)
