About the role
LifeArc is looking for a Communication Planning, Impact and Evaluation Manager to join our External Affairs and Communications (EAC) team. This is a newly created role designed to bring rigour and strategic alignment to how we plan, execute, and measure our communications activities across the organisation.

LifeArc is looking for a Communication Planning, Impact and Evaluation Manager to join our External Affairs and Communications (EAC) team. This is a newly created role designed to bring rigour and strategic alignment to how we plan, execute, and measure our communications activities across the organisation.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the development and management of a centralized communications grid to ensure all activity is aligned with LifeArc’s strategic priorities.
- Establish a robust impact and evaluation framework to measure the effectiveness of communications across digital, media, and internal channels.
- Work closely with senior leaders to translate complex scientific and charitable goals into actionable communication plans.
- Provide data-driven insights to the EAC leadership team to inform future resource allocation and campaign strategy.
- Manage relationships with external agencies and internal stakeholders to ensure consistency in messaging and reporting.
- Oversee the budget for evaluation tools and platforms, ensuring maximum ROI on communications spend.
Requirements
- Proven experience in strategic communications planning and impact evaluation, ideally within the life sciences, healthcare, or non-profit sectors.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to turn complex data sets into clear, actionable reports for non-specialist audiences.
- Experience using communications measurement tools (e.g., AMEC framework, Google Analytics, media monitoring platforms).
- Excellent project management skills with the ability to manage multiple competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Highly collaborative approach with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels of the organisation.
