Location: Guildford Hospital | Department: Administration | Type: Permanent | Schedule: Full time
Salary: Up to £25,545.00 per annum depending on experience

We are looking for a Bookings Administrator in our Guildford Hospital who will be responsible administering a large volume of email requests from referrals to appointments, ensuring the hospital meets its service deliverables whilst exceeding customer expectations. Preferably you will hold a NVQ level 2 in Business and Administration or equivalent and experience of working in a customer facing environment, to help us build a healthier nation.

As our Bookings Administrator you will:
  • Bring empathy, sympathy and sensitivity to the role.
  • Ensure complex administration and support, meets the required standards and timescales
  • Have attention to detail ensuring all data/information is accurate using the appropriate system and format.
  • To prepare standard and ad hoc reports as required and required by the department
  • Handle appointments bookings and changes
  • Co-ordinate availability of rooms and consultants
  • Create, alter or cancel clinics as required to support business needs

We are proud to have received a "good" rating from the health care regulator, the Care Quality Commission (CQC).

Our facilities include 49 en-suite patient bedrooms, 4 operating theatres, acute dependency and oncology units. We’ve been awarded the Macmillan Quality Environment Mark for cancer care and our Endoscopy service has achieved JAG accreditation. Our site is shared with an NHS Trust hospital, giving us access to their facilities. The working atmosphere is highly professional and stimulating, yet friendly and collaborative like that of a large family unit.

The hospital is easily accessible from the A3 or M25 and we are located about 1.5 miles from Guildford town centre.
