MRI Radiographer (Maternity Cover)
Location: Bristol Hospital
Department: Radiology
Contract Type: Fixed Term Contract
Hours: Full Time
Salary: Up to £42,500 per annum depending on experience
Hours per week: 37.5

A 30 private bed hospital which houses 3 digital theatres and combines leading-edge clinical facilities with an outstanding customer experience.

Main Duties of the Role
- Deliver high-quality MRI imaging services across a varied caseload, including outpatient, inpatient, and theatre work.
- Treat every patient as an individual, offering empathy, reassurance, and professionalism throughout their imaging journey.
- Operate advanced MRI equipment and contribute to the development of imaging protocols and best practices.
- Support the Radiology Manager in policy development, service improvement, and compliance with safety standards.
- Supervise, mentor, and support junior radiographers and students, fostering a culture of learning and excellence.
- Ensure all imaging is delivered with the highest standards of accuracy, safety, and compassion.
What We’re Looking For
- BSc in Diagnostic Radiography (or equivalent)
- Postgraduate qualification in MRI (desirable)
- Experience in MRI scanning across a range of clinical indications
- Strong communication skills and a compassionate approach to patient care
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
