Job Title: Occupational Health Advisor
Location: Londonderry, BT47 6TH
Contract: 6 months
Hourly rate: £40 - £45 ph
Hours: 4 days per week

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conducting health assessments and providing appropriate advice on fitness to work, workplace adjustments, and rehabilitation.
  • Managing health surveillance programs, spirometry, audiometry, including assessments and follow-ups.
  • Providing expert advice on occupational health matters, including workplace risk assessments and health promotion activities.
  • Handling case management 8 cases per day, 45 minutes for each cases, including sickness absence reviews and return-to-work assessments.
  • Maintaining accurate and confidential health records in compliance with GDPR and company policies.
  • Liaising with HR, management, and external healthcare providers to ensure a holistic approach to employee well-being.

Qualifications and Experience:
  • Registered Nurse (RGN) with a valid NMC PIN.
  • Experienced in occupational health, ideally in a remote setting.
  • Occupational Health qualification (e.g., Diploma in Occupational Health Nursing or equivalent) is preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of occupational health legislation and best practices.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work independently.
  • Proficient in using IT systems, including health record management software.
  • Ability to manage time effectively and prioritize workload.
