Talent Management Partner | Oxford Nanopore Technologies
Location: Oxford Science Park, Oxford (3 days on-site)

The Role
As a Talent Management Partner, you’ll sit within our Centre of Excellence and work at the intersection of strategy, learning, and people development. You’ll be responsible for designing and delivering impactful initiatives that support capability building, leadership development, and employee engagement, ensuring our talent is equipped to help drive business success. This is a high-visibility, highly collaborative role, where you’ll partner with stakeholders across the business to shape how we attract, develop, and retain our people.

Key Responsibilities
- Design and manage core learning and development programmes across the organisation
- Partner with HRBPs and functional leaders to identify current and future skills needs
- Drive workforce planning and capability development strategies
- Manage external learning providers and partners, ensuring quality and value
- Use data and insights to evaluate programme effectiveness and demonstrate impact
- Lead and support employee engagement initiatives, including our Values in Action community
- Collaborate with Marketing and Communications to ensure alignment with our employer brand
- Oversee learning budgets, approvals, and processes, working closely with Finance and Procurement
- Contribute to building a progressive, scalable, and commercially aligned Talent function
What We’re Looking For
- Experience in Talent Management, Learning & Development, or HR (typically 3-5 years)
- Strong stakeholder management and relationship-building skills
- Ability to balance strategic thinking with hands-on delivery
- Experience using data, systems, and insights to drive decisions
- Confidence working in a fast-paced, evolving business environment
- Commercial awareness and the ability to navigate complex organisations
- A genuine passion for people development, culture, and organisational growth
