About the Role
We are looking for a Backend Engineer to join our growing Tech team at Skin+Me. You will be responsible for building and maintaining the core services that power our personalised skincare platform, ensuring high performance and responsiveness to requests from the front-end.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement low-latency, high-availability, and performant applications.
• Write reusable, testable, and efficient code using Node.js and TypeScript.
• Implementation of security and data protection.
• Integration of data storage solutions such as PostgreSQL and Redis.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Backend Engineer with strong proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript.
• Extensive experience with Node.js and related frameworks.
• Solid understanding of relational databases and SQL.
• Experience with cloud platforms, preferably AWS.
• Knowledge of modern authorization mechanisms, such as JSON Web Token.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and automated testing.
