Senior Full Stack Engineer (Node / Typescript / React)

Overview
Skin+Me is a combined healthtech and beauty brand, delivering personalised skincare treatments to customers across the UK. We are looking for a Senior Full Stack Engineer to join our growing engineering team to help build and scale our platform using modern web technologies.

The Role
As a Senior Full Stack Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining robust applications that power our customer experience and internal operations. You will work closely with product managers and designers to translate requirements into high-quality code, ensuring performance, security, and scalability are at the forefront of everything we build.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the development of new features across the full stack using Node.js, TypeScript, and React.
• Architect scalable backend services and integrate with various third-party APIs.
• Mentor junior and mid-level engineers through code reviews and technical guidance.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define technical roadmaps and project requirements.
• Optimise application performance and ensure high availability of our services.
• Maintain high standards of code quality through testing and continuous integration.

Requirements

• Extensive experience with Node.js and TypeScript in a production environment.
• Strong proficiency in React and modern frontend state management.
• Experience with cloud infrastructure (AWS/GCP) and containerisation (Docker/Kubernetes).
• Solid understanding of database design (SQL and NoSQL).
• Proven track record of delivering complex software projects at scale.
• Excellent communication skills and a collaborative mindset.
