About the role:
It is an exciting and transformational time working with the Hertfordshire and West Essex NHS ICB. Sonic Healthcare UK will be taking on the management of Phlebotomy and Pathology Laboratories in the geography including a phlebotomy cohort of circa 150 Phlebotomists.
There is an opportunity for a phlebotomy administration officer. This role will have its base at Princess Alexandra Hospital with the opportunity to work in various and exciting phlebotomy settings such as outpatients reception, back office and telephone reception.
Key duties will include:
To be a valued member of a motivated team with a patient care focus. To ensure professional and technical standards are maintained within the services at all times.
To greet patients, direct workflow, print order forms, receive phone call, pass on enquiries and to make phlebotomy appointments for patients.
Due to the nature of work that Sonic Healthcare UK undertakes, our clients require that Employees filling certain roles, need, as part of their on-boarding to complete a DBS Check (Criminal Record Check). This role falls into the category of requiring a DBS check (standard).
