Nursery Nurse
Location: Babraham, Cambridge
Salary: Starting salary for Level 3 qualified is between £27,765 and £28,866 FTE per annum (BI 9) depending on experience. Starting salary for Level 2 qualified is between £26,933 and £27,382 FTE per annum (BI 10) depending on experience.

About the Role
The Babraham Nursery is looking for enthusiastic and dedicated Nursery Nurses to join our team. You will be responsible for providing high-quality care and education for children aged 6 weeks to 5 years, ensuring a safe, stimulating, and nurturing environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan and implement age-appropriate activities aligned with the EYFS framework.
• Act as a key person for a group of children, monitoring their progress and maintaining developmental records.
• Build strong relationships with parents and carers through regular communication.
• Ensure the health, safety, and wellbeing of all children at all times.
• Work collaboratively with the nursery team to maintain high standards of care.

Requirements

• Level 2 or Level 3 qualification in Childcare (or equivalent).
• Previous experience working in a nursery or early years setting.
• Strong understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS).
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• A passion for early years education and child development.
