Job Specification: Indirect Tax Analyst
Role Overview
The role is responsible for ensuring accurate and timely indirect tax compliance across multiple jurisdictions. This includes compiling and analyzing financial data, reviewing compliance outputs, managing month‑end tax reconciliations, and supporting both the indirect tax team and the wider tax function. The position requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively with internal stakeholders and external service providers.

The position requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively with internal stakeholders and external service providers.
Key Responsibilities
Indirect Tax Compliance & Reporting
- Compile, analyse, and validate financial data required for indirect tax compliance across relevant jurisdictions
- Review and approve indirect tax returns prepared either internally or by external providers, ensuring accuracy and compliance with local regulations
- Review, reconcile, and ensure the accuracy of month‑end indirect tax balances, including the use of BlackLine for balance sheet reconciliations
Operational Support
- Support the indirect tax team in all business‑as‑usual (BAU) activities as well as in project-based work, including process improvements and system enhancements
- Collaborate with the wider corporate tax team as needed, providing support and technical input across cross-functional initiatives
- Assist with internal and external audit requests, ensuring timely and complete responses and maintaining strong audit trails
Process & Stakeholder Management
- Work closely with tax service providers to enhance process efficiency, accuracy, and overall compliance quality
- Identify opportunities to improve data quality, automation, and controls within the indirect tax compliance process
Education & Experience
Bachelor’s degree in accounting or business-related field.
Minimum of 1 years’ experience in a corporate/industry accounting or tax related role
Knowledge & Skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Well-developed organizational and time management skills, able to manage multiple priorities
- Ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders across finance, tax, and operations
- Proficient in Excel and comfortable working with financial data and systems

Flex Eligibility Status: In this Hybrid-Eligible role, you can choose to be designated as:
- Hybrid: work remotely up to two days per week; or select
- On-Site: work five days per week on-site with ad hoc flexibility.
