"Creating supportive communities where older people thrive with companionship and dignity"
Abbeyfield Living Society provides housing, care, and companionship for older people across England. With over 50 homes offering sheltered housing, residential care, dementia friendly support, and independent living, the charity creates person centred environments where residents maintain independence while enjoying community connection. Founded in 1956, Abbeyfield combats loneliness and fosters belonging. Guided by five values of Care, Compassion, Community, Integrity, and Excellence, Abbeyfield operates as a charity putting residents first. Trained staff and volunteers deliver activities, events, and trips that bring residents together, helping older people live later life to the full in safe, warm, and stimulating homes.
