Terms of Service.

1. Introduction

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the websites, applications and services provided by Meeveem Limited (“Meeveem”, “we”, “us” or “our”), a company registered in England and Wales (together, the “Service”).

By creating an account, or by otherwise accessing or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms and by our Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy. If you do not agree, you must not use the Service.

We may update these Terms from time to time (see section 11). The version in force is identified by the effective date above.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 16 years old to create an account or use the Service, and the information you provide to us must be accurate and complete. The Service is intended for people looking for work and is not directed at children under 16.

If you use the Service on behalf of an organisation, you confirm that you are authorised to bind that organisation to these Terms, and references to “you” include that organisation.

3. The Service

Meeveem is a careers platform that helps candidates find roles and helps employers find candidates. We use automated processing, including artificial intelligence, to read profiles and job descriptions and to suggest matches between candidates and roles.

The Service provides suggestions and tools only. We are not an employer, we do not make hiring decisions, and we do not guarantee that any candidate will be placed in a role or that any employer will fill a role. Hiring decisions rest entirely with the employer.

4. Your Account

To use most features you must create an account. You are responsible for keeping your login credentials confidential and for all activity that takes place under your account. You agree to notify us promptly of any unauthorised use.

You agree to provide accurate, current and complete information and to keep it up to date. We may suspend or close accounts that contain false information or that are used in breach of these Terms.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• use the Service for any unlawful, fraudulent or discriminatory purpose, or in breach of any applicable employment, equality or data protection law;
• upload content that is false, misleading, defamatory, infringing, or that you do not have the right to share;
• scrape, copy, or harvest data from the Service except as expressly permitted by us in writing;
• attempt to gain unauthorised access to the Service, interfere with its operation, or circumvent its security;
• use the Service to send spam or unsolicited communications, or to contact candidates or employers for purposes unrelated to genuine recruitment.

6. Terms for Candidates

You retain ownership of your CV and any other content you upload. You grant us a non-exclusive licence to store, process and analyse that content in order to provide the Service to you, including to generate matches and to present relevant elements of your profile to employers where you choose to apply or make your profile visible.

We match on your professional experience and qualifications. We do not ask for, and you should not include, sensitive personal information such as data about your health. If you choose to include such information, it is processed only as part of the document you uploaded and you can ask us to remove it. 7. Terms for Employers

If you use the Service as an employer or recruiter, you are responsible for the accuracy and lawfulness of the roles and company information you publish, and for conducting any recruitment fairly and in compliance with applicable law.

You may use candidate information made available to you only for the purpose of assessing and contacting candidates in connection with genuine roles. You must not use it for any other purpose, retain it longer than necessary, or share it with third parties except as permitted by law and the candidate’s rights.

8. Intellectual Property

The Service, including its software, design, text, and branding, is owned by Meeveem or our licensors and is protected by intellectual property laws. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the Service in accordance with these Terms. No other rights are granted.

9. Disclaimers and Liability

The Service is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we exclude all warranties not expressly set out in these Terms, including any warranty that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that matches or suggestions will be accurate or lead to employment.

Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law (including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud). Subject to that, we are not liable for loss of profits, loss of opportunity, or any indirect or consequential loss arising from your use of the Service.

10. Termination

You may stop using the Service and close your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you breach these Terms or where we reasonably need to in order to protect the Service or other users. On termination, the rights granted to you under these Terms end, but any provisions that by their nature should survive (including sections 8 and 9) will continue to apply.

11. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms to reflect changes to the Service or for legal, regulatory or operational reasons. Where changes are material, we will take reasonable steps to notify you. Your continued use of the Service after the changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising out of or in connection with them.
