"A private hospital in Kent providing outstanding patient care since 1907"
Benenden Hospital is an independent private hospital with charitable status in the Kent countryside. Founded in 1907 to treat postal workers with tuberculosis, it now offers over 250 specialised treatments for adults through private medical insurance, Benenden Health membership, or self pay. It is the only private hospital in Kent rated Outstanding by the Care Quality Commission. The hospital specialises in orthopaedic, gynaecological, and ophthalmological surgery, alongside respiratory medicine, cosmetic procedures, and general surgery. Three operating theatres, a purpose built imaging suite, and on site sterile services deliver fast access to diagnosis and treatment in a calm environment that supports patient healing and recovery.
