Bradford Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust serves 550,000 people across Bradford and provides specialist services for 1.1 million across Yorkshire. The Trust operates Bradford Royal Infirmary, St Luke's Hospital and community sites, delivering inpatient, outpatient, rehabilitation and emergency care alongside pioneering research. The Trust employs over 7,000 staff and became a Foundation Trust in 2004, one of the first in the NHS. As a teaching hospital for the University of Leeds, it leads in applied health research, particularly in quality and safety, elderly care and rehabilitation, while its Command Centre was the first in Europe to transform patient flow management.
