About Community Dental Services

Community Dental Services CIC is a referral only NHS provider serving patients unable to access general dental practice. The organization treats people with learning disabilities, mental health issues, severe anxiety, and those in prisons and secure settings. Operating 58 clinics across East England and the Midlands, CDS delivers clinical treatment, mobile dental services, and supervised toothbrushing programmes. Founded in 2011 as an employee owned social enterprise, CDS reinvests all surplus into patient care. The 530 strong team achieves 99% patient satisfaction through specialist care for vulnerable populations combined with oral health training and prevention programmes.
