Dorset HealthCare is responsible for all NHS mental health services and many physical health services across Dorset, delivering both hospital and community based care. The Trust serves nearly 800,000 people through more than 300 sites, from village halls and GP surgeries to mental health inpatient hospitals and community hospitals, as well as in people's homes. Staff provide treatments including mental health crisis support, wellbeing services, learning disability care, audiology, podiatry, community nursing, rehabilitation, palliative care and inpatient care at 14 community hospitals. The Trust works in partnership across the Dorset health system to improve outcomes for people needing mental health or physical care in their communities.
