Foyle Hospice is a charity providing free specialist palliative and end-of-life care for people with cancer and other life-limiting illnesses across the Western Health and Social Trust area in Northern Ireland. Its services include care at home, a 24-hour inpatient unit, day therapy, patient services and bereavement support for families, carers and loved ones. Across difficult illness and bereavement, it tailors compassionate, holistic support to physical, psychological, social and spiritual needs, helping patients and families maintain quality of life. The model is community-backed: donors, fundraisers and volunteers provide most of the funding, enabling care to remain free to patients and relatives.
