
Garden House Hospice Care provides free specialist palliative care for patients and families facing life limiting illnesses across North Hertfordshire, Stevenage and surrounding areas. Services include a 24 hour inpatient unit, hospice at home nursing, frailty support, rehabilitation programmes and emotional counselling. Experienced doctors, nurses, physiotherapists and therapists deliver compassionate care tailored to each individual. Serving 500,000 people, the hospice supported 4,755 patients last year. The charity raises £7,435 daily to fund services, with 89p per pound going to patient care. Founded in 1990, Garden House relies on community support and volunteers to enable people to live well until the end of their days.
