Heart of Kent Hospice provides specialist care and support to adults who have a terminal illness as well as their families, friends and carers. The hospice helps people to live as fully and as well as possible for the rest of their lives and ensures that their final days are comfortable and peaceful, wherever they choose to be. Care is delivered both at the hospice building in Aylesford and in people's own homes and residential care settings. Every individual is treated as the unique and special person that they are. Everything the hospice does is tailored and personalised. As a charity, the hospice provides all care free of charge and depends on community donations for over 80% of its £7.6 million annual running costs.
