Kettering General Hospital provides acute healthcare from its main site in Kettering and satellite facilities across the region. The hospital delivers emergency care through A&E, inpatient and outpatient treatment, maternity services, and specialist diagnostics. As part of University Hospitals of Northamptonshire, it serves North Northamptonshire and South Leicestershire, treating over 255 patients daily in A&E, more than 360,000 outpatients yearly, and approximately 3,200 births. The hospital employs around 5,000 staff, making it one of Northamptonshire's largest employers. It became an NHS Foundation Trust in 2008 and achieved University Hospital status in 2021, improving academic opportunities and expanding research access for patients.
