Locala Health and Wellbeing is a not-for-profit social enterprise providing NHS and local authority community healthcare services across West Yorkshire and Greater Manchester. The organisation delivers care to people of all ages, from health visiting and school nursing to district nursing, sexual health, physiotherapy and end of life support. Services are provided in homes, clinics and care homes, bringing care closer to where people live.
As a social enterprise, Locala has no shareholders. Any surplus is reinvested into patient care and local communities. Owned by its colleagues and community members, the organisation tailors services to meet local needs and tackles health inequalities across the communities it serves.
