Martin House provides family-led hospice care free of charge for children and young people with life-shortening conditions across Yorkshire. Founded in 1987 as the UK's second children's hospice, Martin House offers specialist palliative care, planned respite, emergency support and bereavement services to more than 550 children, young people and their families every year, both at the hospice in Boston Spa and in their own homes.
The hospice supports the whole family, creating opportunities for quality time together while delivering expert medical care and emotional support. After a recent transformation, Martin House is bigger, better equipped and ready to care for more families when they need it most.
