

Milton Keynes University Hospital is a district general hospital providing acute and specialist services to Milton Keynes and surrounding areas of Buckinghamshire, Northamptonshire, Bedfordshire and Oxfordshire. With 550 beds and over 4,500 staff, the hospital treats more than 500,000 patients annually. Since 2017, MKUH has partnered with the University of Buckingham to operate a medical school on site. Milton Keynes is one of the UK's fastest growing cities, with its population expected to almost double to 500,000 by 2050. Recent investments include a Cancer Centre, radiotherapy centre, and same day emergency care facility. Future plans include a new Women's and Children's Hospital and expanded surgery capacity.
