NHS Greater Manchester is Greater Manchester’s Integrated Care Board, making decisions about health services across the region’s ten boroughs and cities. It manages the NHS budget, arranges health services and works with NHS trusts, primary care providers, councils, voluntary organisations and communities to improve care for local residents. Through this joined-up model, it connects health and social care across a population of more than 2.8 million, aiming to prevent poor health, tackle inequalities and make high-quality care and support available when people need it. Established on 1 July 2022, the organisation supports ten place-based partnerships so services can respond to diverse local needs.
