About NHS Humber and North Yorkshire Integrated Care Board
NHS Humber and North Yorkshire Integrated Care Board oversees NHS spending and service planning for 1.7 million residents across a region spanning the cities of Hull and York, rural areas of East Yorkshire, North Yorkshire and Northern Lincolnshire. The ICB holds budgets for essential services including emergency care, GP services, mental health support, community nursing, and continuing healthcare for people with complex needs.
The organisation coordinates health and care to improve population health and reduce inequalities. Working as part of the wider Health and Care Partnership, the ICB joins up services across NHS trusts, local councils, and community organisations, ensuring people get access to high quality care when they need it.
