NHS Kent and Medway is an Integrated Care Board that plans and commissions healthcare services for 2 million people across Kent and Medway. Established in July 2022, it replaced seven Clinical Commissioning Groups with a £4.7 billion annual budget. The ICB works in partnership with local authorities, NHS providers, and voluntary organisations to address health inequalities and improve population health. The organisation leads the regional NHS within the national system, using influence and collaboration to tackle long standing health challenges. It oversees commissioning strategy and works with partners to make health and wellbeing better than any partner can achieve alone through joined up care services.
