Novalis Trust operates three organisations in Gloucestershire: Cotswold Chine School and William Morris School, special schools for children aged 7 to 19 with complex learning needs, and Paradise House, a residential home for adults with learning disabilities. The charity delivers trauma-informed, attachment-focused and relationship-based care using the Novalis model, which draws on research by leading practitioners.
Founded in 1954, the trust provides education, clinical therapy and residential care through a shared approach. Staff work collaboratively with young people, adults, families and professionals within therapeutic low arousal environments that promote positive relationships and secure attachments.
