Pendleside Hospice delivers specialist palliative care to adults aged 17 and over with life-limiting illnesses across Burnley, Pendle and Rossendale. The hospice provides a 10 bedded inpatient unit for short term care including symptom control, end of life care, rehabilitation and crisis support, alongside hospice at home services, health and wellbeing rehabilitation, family support, bereavement care and meals on wheels.
Every service is free of charge. The hospice's multi-disciplinary teams work in collaboration with local care providers to deliver holistic care that addresses physical, psychological, social and spiritual needs, with each person's confidentiality, privacy, dignity and choice respected throughout.
