Primary Care 24 is a not for profit social enterprise established in 2004, delivering NHS urgent and primary care services to over 1.6 million people across Merseyside and surrounding areas. The organisation operates GP practices, out of hours services, and specialist care including an asylum medical assessment service. As a social enterprise, Primary Care 24 reinvests surpluses into patient care and staff wellbeing rather than generating profit. The organisation combines NHS values with social enterprise innovation to ensure accessible, responsive healthcare for all community members, challenging social exclusion and supporting underserved populations across Halton, Liverpool, Knowsley, St Helens, Sefton, Southport, Formby and Warrington.
