Rochdale Health Alliance is a GP federation established in 2016 by local practices across Heywood, Middleton and Rochdale. The organisation supports 31 member practices and six Primary Care Networks with back office services including finance, HR, recruitment and training. It delivers same day appointments, enhanced access outside core hours, and Sunday clinics connecting patients with the right healthcare professional.
The federation runs the Primary Care Academy for workforce development across the primary care team. By coordinating care, Rochdale Health Alliance ensures patients see the most appropriate clinician, whether GP, pharmacist, social prescriber or nurse, reducing wait times and improving health outcomes.
