Saint Michael's provides hospice care for people with terminal illness across the Harrogate district. The charity delivers specialist support at home and in its Crimple House inpatient unit, offering 24 hour nursing, symptom management, and end of life care. Services include lymphoedema treatment, breathlessness support, Motor Neurone Disease nursing, and advance care planning. Volunteer visitors provide companionship for those at home.
The charity runs Just 'B', a bereavement and emotional wellbeing service for families affected by loss. Saint Michael's serves communities across Harrogate, Hambleton and Richmondshire. The hospice relies on voluntary donations for 75 percent of its funding, supporting over 2,500 people each year.
