St Giles Hospice provides specialist palliative care for people living with terminal illness across Staffordshire and North Birmingham. The charity delivers 85% of its care in patients' own homes through community services, with additional support available at two centres in Whittington and Sutton Coldfield. Services include clinical care, pain management, bereavement support and lymphoedema treatment. Founded in 1983, St Giles spends close to £10 million annually providing care. With less than a quarter funded by government, the hospice relies on community donations, fundraising events and its network of 26 charity shops. The organisation employs over 260 staff and is supported by nearly 1,000 volunteers.
