St Luke's Hospice provides specialist palliative care to people with life limiting illnesses across mid and south Cheshire. Services range from ward based end of life care to day hospice sessions, bereavement support, and help returning to work. Each service enables people to live the life they can with dignity and expert care. Founded in 1988 as a community driven charity, St Luke's operates independently from the NHS with 85 per cent of care funded by donations. Serving 300,000 adults, the hospice supports over 1,000 local people each year. Care extends beyond clinical support to emotional, practical and social help for patients, carers and families throughout the illness journey and bereavement.
