St Luke's Hospice Plymouth provides specialist advice and support to people with progressive life-limiting illnesses in Plymouth, South West Devon and East Cornwall. The charity cares for over 300 patients and their families at any given time through a multi-disciplinary team of doctors, nurses, social workers and occupational therapists who deliver care at home and at the specialist unit in Turnchapel. The hospice works in partnership with the local community to achieve dignity, comfort and choice for people affected by life-limiting illnesses. It costs over £13.6 million annually to run services, with 70% funded by donations and fundraising, while the education team trains organisations to ensure everyone receives exceptional care.
