

St Margaret's Hospice Care provides specialist palliative and end of life care across Somerset, serving approximately 520,000 people. With over 350 staff and 900 volunteers, the hospice delivers 95% of its care in patients' homes or within the community, supported by two hospice hubs in Taunton and Yeovil, and a 24 hour advice line. The hospice combines excellent medical and nursing care with holistic support addressing the practical, emotional, social and spiritual needs of everyone facing a progressive life limiting illness. Services include community nursing, day hospice, specialist in patient beds, outpatient clinics, lymphoedema treatment, bereavement support and therapies, all provided free of charge.
