St Mark's Medical Centre delivers comprehensive primary healthcare to over 18,500 registered patients in Southport. Operating under an NHS General Medical Services contract, the practice provides consultations, preventative care, chronic disease management, nursing services and diagnostics. The clinical team includes three GP partners, ten sessional GPs, advanced practitioners, paramedics, pharmacists, nurses and healthcare assistants.
Winner of the RCGP Practice Team of the Year 2025, St Mark's combines frontline care with GP training and innovation. As an accredited training practice, it educates future doctors while tackling health inequity through its Street Seen project with Light for Life supporting homeless individuals in Southport.
