St Mary’s Hospice is a charitable provider of specialist palliative care for people with life-limiting illnesses across Furness and South Lakes. It supports patients, families and carers from diagnosis through illness and bereavement, combining hospice and community care with emotional support, practical guidance, family and bereavement services, wellbeing support and dementia expertise. By helping people live well with comfort, dignity and choice, the hospice addresses the complex needs created by serious illness, caregiving and loss. Its services are free to patients and families and are delivered through St Mary’s in Ulverston, a Community Hub and venues, supported by voluntary income so care remains accessible across the community.
