St Nicholas Hospice Care provides specialist palliative and bereavement services to people with life limiting illnesses across West Suffolk and Thetford. The hospice delivers expert medical care, emotional support, and practical help through its 12 bed inpatient unit, community nursing teams, and bereavement services including Nicky's Way for children. With a 24 hour advice line, it supports patients and families at home, in the hospice, or wherever they choose. Founded in 1983, the charity serves thousands each year, combining clinical expertise with compassion to help people live well and ensure no one faces dying, death, or grief alone. It relies on community fundraising and volunteers to sustain the £26,000 daily cost of delivering care.
