About Sunderland GP Alliance Limited

Sunderland GP Alliance is a not-for-profit collaboration owned by all GP practices in Sunderland, serving approximately 285,000 patients. The organisation operates three medical practices and delivers city-wide services including enhanced access appointments, clinical pharmacists, and social prescribing. By working collectively, member practices provide services individual surgeries cannot deliver alone. The Alliance works with NHS partners to deliver integrated care across primary care, urgent care, and community services. All surplus is reinvested into better patient services. Staff work in a federated model that supports professional development, drives innovation, and creates opportunities to shape primary care delivery across the city.
