About The Clatterbridge Cancer Centre NHS Foundation Trust
The Clatterbridge Cancer Centre NHS Foundation Trust delivers specialist cancer treatment to 2.4 million people across Cheshire, Merseyside, North Wales and the Isle of Man. Operating three cancer centres in Liverpool, Wirral and Aintree, plus chemotherapy clinics in district hospitals, the trust provides advanced radiotherapy, chemotherapy, immunotherapies and gene therapies.
As a tertiary cancer centre, Clatterbridge operates the region's stem cell transplant and cellular therapies service, including CAR-T therapy, and runs the UK's only low-energy proton beam facility for rare eye cancers. With 1,900 specialist staff and a focus on research-led care, the centre combines clinical trials with compassionate treatment.
