About The County Practice

The County Practice is a GP surgery at Syston Health Centre serving registered patients in Syston and its catchment area. It provides urgent and routine appointments, prescriptions, blood tests, referrals, vaccinations, travel-health advice and social prescribing, with consultations available by phone, video, text, email or face to face. By combining accessible primary care with home visits for housebound patients, named doctors who coordinate each patient’s care and online services, the practice helps people obtain appropriate support for immediate needs and ongoing health. It is also a training and research practice, and its active Patient Participation Group works with the team to improve services for the local community.
