Hospice of the Valleys provides specialist palliative care to people in Blaenau Gwent living with life limiting conditions such as heart failure, COPD and cancer. The team offers expert support across physical, emotional, social and financial needs, working in partnership with patients, families and carers from diagnosis through treatment and into end of life care and bereavement.
Care is delivered at home, in nursing homes, at hospitals or at the hospice in Ebbw Vale. Services include specialist nursing, Hospice at Home, complementary therapy, social work, bereavement support and chaplaincy. As a charity, the hospice provides free, high quality care that brings peace, dignity and reassurance when it is needed most.
