Tower Hamlets GP Care Group is a not-for-profit owned by 32 local GP practices. It provides urgent treatment, health visiting, social prescribing, and interpreting services to over 600,000 residents across Tower Hamlets and Waltham Forest. As a community interest company, it strengthens general practice and ensures services are designed with and for the communities they serve. The Care Group fills critical gaps in neighbourhood healthcare through GP-led innovation. From running the Urgent Treatment Centre at the Royal London Hospital to delivering health visiting for young families, it responds directly to local need while remaining rooted in the principle that local people deserve health services shaped by those who know their community.
