United Response supports adults and young people with learning disabilities, autism, mental health needs, physical disabilities and dementia. The charity provides person centred support that enables people to participate in all aspects of their lives and be as independent as possible, through supported living, residential care and community support across England and Wales.
Founded in 1973, United Response was created when people with learning disabilities and autistic people were being forced into institutions and denied the right to build their own lives. The charity now operates in over 300 locations, working with around 2,000 people to ensure everyone has equal access to the same rights and opportunities.
